01How you're billed
Plans bill monthly in arrears. The base fee covers the included quota; overages bill at the per-1k rate listed for your plan and meter to the second. We invoice in USD, payable by card, ACH, or wire. Annual billing is 10× the monthly price (≈2 months free) and converts to a single PO-able invoice.
Hobby is a hard cap — recalls beyond the included 4,500/mo return 429 quota_exhausted with a retry-after until the next period. Starter (15K recalls/mo), Builder (65K recalls/mo), and Scale (225K recalls/mo) include a monthly recall quota and meter overage above it at $1.10 / 1k recalls and $0.50 / 1k ingests. Enterprise bursts freely on a custom ceiling. We surface a usage forecast in the dashboard and email at 70 / 90 / 100% of the previous month's spend.
02What counts as a call
One recall is one POST /api/v1/agent/recall request, regardless of how many memories come back. One ingest is one memory accepted into a container — bulk uploads count as N. Validity-window updates and contradiction-driven invalidations don't bill separately. See the memory API reference for the full request surface.

04Pricing FAQ
Do you charge for storage?
No. Your plan's memory cap is included — 10,000 on Hobby, 100K on Starter, 400K on Builder, 1M on Scale. Beyond that, we'll discuss custom limits — but most teams plateau well below their ceiling because contradiction-driven invalidation prunes stale facts automatically.
What if I exceed Scale's quota?
Scale includes 1M stored memories and 225K recalls/mo; recall usage past the included quota meters at $1.10 / 1k recalls (and $0.50 / 1k ingests) rather than hard-stopping. We'll email at 90 / 100 / 150% of the previous month's spend and freeze the bill if you tell us to. Need more than 1M memories? Talk to us about Enterprise limits.
Can I switch plans mid-month?
Yes. Upgrades pro-rate; downgrades take effect at the next renewal. Annual contracts can be paused (not refunded) if you spin down a major workload.
Is there a free trial of the paid plans?
Yes. Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial. We collect your card up front but don't charge until the trial ends — cancel anytime during the 14 days and you pay nothing. After the trial, billing begins at $19/mo (Starter), $79/mo (Builder), or $249/mo + usage (Scale). The Hobby plan is also free forever with no card required if you'd rather start there.
Does the AgentSkills marketplace cost extra?
No. The AgentSkills marketplace is free on every plan — publishing, forking, and installing private copies of public skills costs nothing extra. Plans differ only in per-account caps: Hobby gets 10 private + 10 public skills (5 publishes/day); every paid plan (Starter, Builder, Scale) gets unlimited public and private skills. There is no separate skills SKU.
